Founder Story

Alice Gutierrez was born in El Salvador and came to Houston, Texas with her family as a child, escaping civil war. Growing up, her family and church community instilled in her the values of hard work, faith, and service to others.

Her journey into working with children with autism began in 2002 while she was in graduate school pursuing a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. During this time, Alice began working with children and discovered a deep joy in helping children on the autism spectrum learn to say their first words, build friendships, and connect with the world in their own unique ways.

Alice went on to complete her training in Marriage and Family Therapy, providing counseling to families navigating trauma, loss, and transitions such as divorce. Although she was a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for several years, she found herself missing the connection and purpose she felt working with children and families affected by autism. This led her to pursue certification as a Behavior Analyst.

In 2010, Alice became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and has since worked with dozens of children and families. Her experience spans working with toddlers as young as 18 months to teenagers, recognizing that every family’s journey with autism is unique. In addition to direct therapy, she has trained numerous Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), interns, and clinicians throughout her career. She believes the best clinicians are those who genuinely love children, act with integrity, and are committed to the greater good of their clients and teams.

With over two decades of experience, Alice continues to learn and grow, adapting to the evolving needs of families and the autism community. She understands that individuals on the spectrum often face complex challenges and that parents are required to navigate difficult decisions and obstacles every step of the way.

After working as a clinician in various organizations, Alice founded All for One Therapy to forge a new path creating a compassionate and collaborative community of clinicians and RBTs dedicated to giving their all for the children entrusted to their care. She firmly believes that delivering exceptional therapy begins with becoming the best version of oneself.

Alice has big plans for All for One Therapy and hopes families will allow her team to support them in finding their own path forward for their children and for themselves.
